Shop. Taste. Eat. Explore Paris! A Cultural and Culinary Adventure. May 18-22 & September 28-October 2, 2011 Shop. Taste. Eat. Explore Paris features visits to various vibrant Parisian markets and market streets and to quarters that are ‘real’ and engaging, replete with one of a kind shops, convivial cafes and welcoming small bistros. We will enjoy a Seine cruise with a Champagne tasting and a visit to an artisanal chocolates shop to learn about and taste classic French chocolates. We will explore off-the-beaten path places like the multi-cultural Faubourg St. Antoine and Aligre market, the charming Canal St. Martin, and the rue de Martyrs in the ‘South of Pigalle’ neighborhood. One full day will be devoted to ferreting out the best of the new ‘Concept Shops’ and other shops of note with an expert private guide. The tour will be limited to six guests. Five minimum. Included: The tour will include all in-Paris services including daily guiding and private shopping tour, talks and tastings, a multi-course bistro or brasserie meal with wine daily, metro passes and an evening Seine cruise with Champagne. We are happy to assist with hotel or restaurant bookings for meals not included in the tour. Not included: Hotel is not included but Your Great Days in Paris highly recommends staying in the three-star Hotel St. Paul Rive Gauche or the two star Grand Hotel des Balcons (just a few blocks apart) in St. Germain des Pres.
